About The Role

The Grace Hill Product Manager owns the strategy and roadmap for an assigned product line, setting the direction that Product Owners and technical teams execute against. This individual is a strong market and customer researcher, translating industry trends, competitive dynamics, and voice-of-customer insight into a prioritized, outcome-based roadmap and a clear business case for investment.

Grace Hill's Product Management team supports product lines serving both Multifamily and Commercial Real Estate customers. Depending on the assigned product area, the Product Manager may focus on evolving and scaling established solutions, identifying new market opportunities, or helping bring new capabilities to market.

This role is strategic rather than execution-focused: the Product Manager defines what problem is worth solving and why, and works closely with Product Owners, who own translating that direction into delivery. In certain product areas or initiatives, the Product Manager may also need to operate more tactically and work directly with cross-functional teams to help move priorities forward. The Product Manager is a key voice to executive leadership, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing, ensuring the product line's direction is understood, prioritized correctly, and aligned to company strategy.

The Product Manager thrives on ambiguity, is comfortable making prioritization calls with incomplete information, and communicates decisions and rationale clearly to stakeholders at every level of the organization. They are equally comfortable engaging directly with customers and prospects to understand workflows, uncover underlying business problems, and validate potential solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for assigned product line(s), translating company and platform strategy into a clear, prioritized plan
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis; track industry trends, competitor positioning, and buyer needs across Multifamily and Commercial Real Estate
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customers, workflows, business challenges, and market dynamics within the assigned area of the Real Estate industry.
  • Lead customer and user discovery: interviews, surveys, win/loss analysis, and usage analytics to identify unmet needs and validate opportunities
  • Define and frame problems and opportunities, then build the business case (market size, value proposition, ROI) to justify investment and sequencing
  • Set outcome-based goals and success metrics for the product line, and report progress and impact to executive stakeholders
  • Partner with Product Owners to translate roadmap priorities into epics and initiatives, providing strategic context so they can own execution and delivery
  • Engage directly with customers, prospects, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to gather input and align go-to-market plans with product direction
  • Make and communicate prioritization decisions, articulating trade-offs and rationale to cross-functional teams and leadership
  • Partner with Design and Engineering leadership on the technical and experience feasibility of strategic bets
  • Identify opportunities to evolve existing products, improve scalability and efficiency, and develop new capabilities that address changing customer and market needs.
  • Evaluate opportunities to incorporate AI and emerging technologies where they can meaningfully improve customer outcomes, product capabilities, or operational efficiency.
  • Own pricing and packaging strategy for the product line, in partnership with the pricing committee
  • Represent the product line in executive and customer advisory contexts as needed

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of Product Management experience, with proven experience owning product strategy and roadmap for a SaaS product line, ideally in B2B or vertical SaaS
  • Strong market and competitive analysis skills, with the ability to translate research into a defensible business case
  • Demonstrated customer discovery experience: qualitative interviews, quantitative validation, and synthesis into clear opportunities
  • Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions, and uncover the business need behind a customer's requested solution.
  • Track record of setting product vision and strategy that a delivery team (Product Owners, Engineering) can execute against
  • Excellent executive communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to prioritize across competing needs and make trade-off decisions with incomplete information
  • Comfortable partnering closely with Product Owners without owning day-to-day delivery or scrum execution, while also being willing to operate more tactically when the needs of the product or team require it.
  • Strong analytical skills; experience with usage analytics and data-informed decision-making
  • Experience evaluating and scoping AI-powered product capabilities (e.g., automation, predictive insights, conversational interfaces), knowing where AI genuinely improves the product versus adds cost or risk, and comfortable using AI tools yourself to accelerate research, analysis, and documentation
  • Experience in Real Estate, PropTech, Multifamily, Commercial Real Estate, HR Tech, or a related vertical is highly valued. Certain product areas may benefit from deeper familiarity with Commercial Real Estate customers, workflows, and market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn a new industry or customer segment and translate that understanding into effective product decisions is also valued.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary:  $105-115K base + bonus
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Remote work option
  • Collaborative, mission-driven culture

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
