About Axuall

Built with leading healthcare systems, Axuall is a workforce intelligence company built on top of a national real-time practitioner data network. It enables healthcare systems, staffing firms, telehealth, and health plans to dramatically reduce onboarding and enrollment time while also providing unique, powerful data insights for network planning, analytics, and reporting. Its network streamlines the secure sharing of digitally verified credentials between clinicians, authorized verifiers, and organizations that require this information quickly and continuously to meet patient demand, ensure clinical coverage, and maximize revenue capture.

In 2023, Axuall closed its series B round of financing, bringing its total capital raised to more than $41 million. Axuall's investors and the organizations they represent comprise over two dozen of the nation's leading healthcare organizations that recognize the imperative to improve clinical workforce efficiency amidst significant economic and staffing challenges.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and technically minded Product Manager to lead Axuall’s data connector and sourcing product initiatives. This person will be responsible for owning the product lifecycle of our data integration and connector capabilities - a core part of our “Confirm” offering, which delivers primary source-verified data to health systems to accelerate credentialing workflows.

You will work cross-functionally with engineering, legal, operations, and partner teams to identify new data sources, manage and optimize our growing network of data connections, and ensure we meet stringent reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency goals. You’ll also help build frameworks and tooling to scale our connector operations as we grow.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Axuall’s data connector platform.
  • Partner with internal teams and external issuers to identify, evaluate, and integrate new data sources into the Axuall network.
  • Collaborate with engineering to define technical requirements, SLAs, and scalable frameworks to ensure high reliability and cost-efficient data operations.
  • Monitor the performance, availability, and cost of existing data integrations; define and implement optimization strategies.
  • Create and maintain a cost model for Axuall’s data sources, tracking current and forecasted spend and informing pricing strategy.
  • Support vendor negotiations and partnership development to extend and enhance our data footprint.
  • Work closely with customer-facing teams to ensure our solutions meet user needs and industry standards.
  • Build internal processes, documentation, and tools to support connector onboarding, monitoring, and maintenance at scale.

Qualifications

Candidates for Product Manager must demonstrate extensive hands-on experience and knowledge of industry best practices in the functions listed above.  Specific requirements include:

  • 2–5 years of experience as a product manager at a data-focused SaaS company.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with data integration and automation.
  • Proven ability to understand and work closely with technical teams; background in APIs, data pipelines, or systems architecture preferred.
  • Experience negotiating or managing third-party vendor agreements is a plus.
  • Highly analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and track record of delivering results in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Comfort working through ambiguity and scaling early-stage products.

We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet 100% of the qualifications listed. We recognize that talent and potential come in many forms, and we value diverse experiences and perspectives. If you're passionate about this opportunity and believe your skills and experience align with the overall requirements, we encourage you to submit your application.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
