As a Product Manager at CoderPad, you will own the product roadmap, drive strategy for AI-powered features, and engage customers for feedback while collaborating with design and engineering teams.
CoderPad's mission is to create a more inclusive and strong tech community.
How? By improving the technical interviewing experience with tools that allow for standardization and consistency, while reducing bias and increasing equality of opportunity.
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team.
What does a Product Manager (PM) at CoderPad do?
As the global leader in the technical interview space (4,000+ customers in 165+ countries), CoderPad provides real-time, AI-augmented platforms that allow companies to evaluate developers on the latest technologies through live coding and collaborative environments.
As a PM, you will own the roadmap for our most forward-looking work: AI-assisted code generation, inline editing, and intelligent planning modes built directly into CoderPad — think Cursor’s ask/edit/plan experience, purpose-built for technical interviews. You’ll also drive product strategy for adjacent technical use cases ranging from DevOps tooling and mobile emulation to spreadsheets and non-technical use cases.
The team is distributed across Europe and the US and operates in a deeply async way — strong written communication isn’t a nice-to-have here, it’s the job.
This role reports our VP of Product, and is based in North America, working EST hours.
What you'll be doing:
- Own and evolve squad product roadmap from discovery through delivery
- Be in the driver's seat alongside design and engineering — not as a spec-writer, but as a builder who leads product direction and uses AI to move faster, go deeper, and contribute to a fast based, customer-obsessed team
- Stay deeply informed on the AI developer tools landscape (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, and what’s next)
- Define success metrics for AI features upfront and drive iteration based on data
- Actively engage customers to gather feedback and translate it into product decisions
- Solve customer problems directly — not just through product specs, but sometimes by hand; we believe in doing things that don't scale until you've learned enough to build them at scale
- Use AI tools actively in your own daily workflow — to research, prototype, write, and build
What you should bring:
- 3+ years of product management at a B2B SaaS company
- Experience owning technically complex products; must have worked closely with engineering on technical or developer-oriented products
- Active familiarity with AI-powered developer tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) — as a daily user with opinions
- Exceptional written communication — you’ll be judged by the clarity of your docs as much as your decisions
- Self-directed and proactive — you identify problems before being asked
- Organized, reliable async collaborator across timezones
- Willing to do things that don't scale — gets into the weeds of a customer problem before there's a scalable solution; not above manual work as a tool for learning
