About the Role:

Join Symmetry and become an indispensable part of our go-to-market (GTM) success. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will have the power to shape the narrative around our core platform and infrastructure. Drive GTM strategies, influence pricing models, and spearhead sales enablement to achieve unparalleled results. Lead successful product launches with data-driven go-to-market plans and showcase client success through impactful case studies. Stay ahead of the curve by conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis, and empower our sales team with top-tier collateral and training.

If you are a strategic thinker with a curiosity for understanding client needs and a proven ability to execute go-to-market strategies, Symmetry is the place where your aspirations will become reality.

About the Team:

The Marketing team at Symmetry is responsible for developing brand awareness and generating enterprise business-to-business demand for our payroll compliance solutions. Our team's mission is to drive substantial growth and establish Symmetry as a category-leading "infrastructure as a service (IAAS)" for payroll compliance. We are building a comprehensive enterprise marketing team, which includes demand generation, product marketing, digital marketing and online presence, sales enablement, analytics and reporting, and customer marketing.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Infrastructure & Core Platform Messaging: Communicate the value of Symmetry’s payroll compliance stack to build trust and drive differentiation. Develop a targeted messaging framework that connects Symmetry’s capabilities to our ICP.
  • Pricing & Packaging: Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop optimal pricing and packaging strategies that maximize revenue and market share.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature releases, including defining target audiences, crafting messaging, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Case Study Development: Identify and develop compelling client case studies that showcase the value and impact of our products. Work with clients to gather data and testimonials, and create engaging content for various platforms.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product strategy. Stay up-to-date on payroll industry trends and best practices.
  • Sales Enablement: Create sales collateral and training materials that empower our sales team to effectively position and sell our products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with product, sales, engineering, and other marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution of product marketing initiatives.
  • Performance Measurement: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of product marketing campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Here’s what we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the HCM/Payroll and SaaS industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in product marketing, including messaging, positioning, pricing, packaging, go-to-market strategy, and case study development.
  • Demonstrated ability to increase ACV and win rate for sales qualified leads.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and marketing principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling content and presentations.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making, with experience using analytics tools to track and measure performance.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g. HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $94,000/yr - $122,000/yr in Scottsdale & most major metro locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
