Alteryx has an immediate opportunity for a passionate, leading-edge Product Marketing Manager that will help propel and advance our growing product portfolio. The PMM is responsible for the creation and ownership of core product messaging, sales tools, product launches and sales enablement content - all in support of developing a killer GTM plan and its related execution. You will be the primary voice of the customer internally and work cross-functionally to drive marketing campaigns, new product releases, and enable sales to position and sell our analytic products and platform across multiple personas. Our ideal candidate will be gifted at "telling the story” with data and understands how analytics provide the strategic insight necessary to understand key businesses processes/business drivers, and common obstacles faced by analysts, line of business leaders, IT and the data science community. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop differentiated product positioning and messaging for the Alteryx platform

  • Understand buyer personas and be able to articulate and apply across all sales tools and marketing content/campaigns.

  • Deliver tailored technical product demos to B2B clients, highlighting key features and business value to drive engagement and sales.

  • Support and spearhead launches and releases - manage cross-functional programming in support of new product launches and release planning.

  • Contribute to sales enablement - helping communicate the value proposition to sales teams and developing the needed sales tools to support the sales cycle and motions (i.e. sales playbook).

  • Understand analytics landscape and competition to be able to accurately position & differentiate Alteryx against various competitors, across multiple segments.

  • Develop content required to fuel marketing programs that drive demand and leads for your products.

  • Help create and understand use cases to illustrate the value delivered to our customers.

  • Work across all functions, levels, and teams within the Alteryx organization to ensure the right content and programs are successfully delivered.

  • Be the trusted voice of the customer internally by developing insights about our customers' usage, needs and requirements through research and analysis.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of Product Marketing, Sales Engineering, or Technical Sales experience

  • Proven experience delivering technical product demos, with the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders

  • Experience in B2B Tech, preferably from Enterprise Software, Data Science, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, or Analytics

  • Experience with AI and generative AI technology and understanding of associated market trends

  • Proven success as an internal and external evangelist for product(s) or product line(s) by creating compelling messages and demonstrating the benefits and capabilities

  • Proven track record to think and act strategically while advising a point of view with detailed discovery and data-driven insights

  • Demonstrated success in product launches and end-to-end execution of supporting marketing and GTM strategies

  • Extraordinary written communication skills: able to distill sophisticated ideas into clear, succinct messages

  • Experience leading and galvanizing cross functional teams and key strategic initiatives

  • Comfortable navigating uncertainty with agile data-backed hypothesis and approaches

  • Strong project management skills and excellent problem-solving skills

  • 20% travel

  • English fluency required

Bonus Skills:

  • Direct experience with Alteryx

  • Understanding of modern data stack components including cloud data warehouse/lakes

  • MBA, relevant Masters degree, or management consulting experience

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation.

The base salary range for this role is between $130,000 - $160,000 factoring in locations such as New York, California, Texas, DC, North Carolina, and Florida. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. 

In addition, you may be eligible for other compensation, such as a bonus. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
