Scope of role:
At RecordPoint, our Product Marketing Managers play a key role in bringing our products to life in the market. Think of them as the go-to people for making sure our products are not only launched effectively, but also truly resonate with our customers. They help drive awareness, encourage adoption, and support growth by shaping smart, thoughtful go-to-market strategies.
They’re also our in-house experts when it comes to understanding the market, our customers, and how our products solve real problems. Their insights help guide our sales and customer teams so they can confidently talk about the value and unique strengths of what we offer.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be a strong communicator—whether that’s through writing, presenting, or collaborating with others. You’ll work closely with lots of different teams across RecordPoint, so being a great planner and a proactive team player is essential.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Product Features & Benefits - Producing collateral that outlines RecordPoint product features in terms of real customer benefits and workflow improvements.
  • Stakeholder Management and Team Collaboration - Collaborating with the Product team, Engineering teams and customer-facing teams (Sales, Customer Success, and Support) to share insights and understand our customers' challenges better.
  • Competitive Analysis - Conducting competitive analysis to highlight differentiators and maintain comparison tools.
  • Audience Interviews - Interviewing customers and prospects to understand their complete workflows and pain points.
  • Audience Research & Persona Development - Building and maintaining detailed audience personas based on research and behavioral insights.
  • Product Launch Planning & Execution - Planning and executing product launches that address specific market needs and align with company goals.
  • Pricing & Packaging - Working with the Product team to define and refine pricing and packaging based on audience segments and value perception.
  • Sales Enablement Content - Creating sales enablement content that supports the buying process and highlights product fit.
  • Customer Marketing Strategy - Leading customer marketing efforts that turn satisfied users into brand advocates and storytellers.

You'll do:

  • Craft clear product messaging that connects customer challenges with how our products solve them.
  • Translate features into benefits that make sense in the context of real customer workflows.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customer teams to align on audience needs, product value, and messaging.
  • Create sales enablement materials like playbooks, pitch decks, and battle cards.
  • Plan and execute go-to-market campaigns for new product and feature launches.
  • Interview customers and conduct research to build detailed personas and understand workflows.
  • Track competitors and update comparisons to help position RecordPoint effectively.
  • Write and produce content such as product overviews, videos, and webinars.
  • Develop and refine pricing and packaging using customer and market insights.
  • Showcase customer success stories that demonstrate real value and drive engagement.

What you'll bring / Who you are:

  • Direct product marketing experience with a track record of driving growth in technology companies.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders across the business, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, and Executive.
  • Proven ability to influence these cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write and produce content for various channels; ability to effectively communicate your message through in-person and virtual presenting.
  • Ability to distil technical products and features to create compelling stories and messaging; experience creating sales narratives and training sales teams to sell and position products effectively.
  • Experience with customer and market research through various methodologies, such as surveys, desk research, and interviews.
  • Strong understanding of effective GTM strategies and a solid foundation in product marketing fundamentals.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
