The Role

We are looking for a collaborative and organized Product Operations Manager to join our R&D team. Reporting directly to the VP of Product Operations, you will play a key role in supporting the health and efficiency of our Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC).

In this role, you will be an operational partner to our Product Managers and R&D leadership. Your goal is to remove friction from the development process, ensure information flows smoothly between teams, and help us maintain a culture of transparency and consistency.

What You’ll Do
  1. Facilitate Process & Governance
  • Support the Lifecycle: Partner with Product Managers to ensure they have the resources and guidance needed to navigate the PDLC effectively—from discovery through delivery.
  • Standardization: Maintain and improve our library of product artifacts, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency across different product lines.
  • Rhythms & Rituals: Assist in the coordination and facilitation of key R&D operating meetings, ensuring they are well-organized and result in clear action items.
  1. Drive Transparency & Information Flow
  • Data Integrity: Conduct regular health checks of our roadmapping and project tools to ensure they reflect an accurate, real-time view of our priorities and progress.
  • Reporting & Synthesis: Aggregate updates from across the R&D organization to create clear, high-level summaries for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge Management: ensure our internal documentation is organized and accessible, serving as a reliable source of truth for "how we work."
  1. Cross-Functional Alignment
  • GTM Partnership: Partner with GTM (Go-To-Market) teams to ensure that R&D provides the necessary inputs and visibility to support successful product launches and updates.
  • Feedback Loops: Collaborate with customer-facing teams to oversee the process of how market feedback is ingested, organized, and reviewed by the Product team.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between R&D and the broader organization, helping to clarify timelines, dependencies, and status updates.
  1. Tool Stack Management

Tool Optimization: Manage the configuration and administration of our Product tool stack, ensuring it supports our workflows and evolves as the team grows.

We are an organization that embraces innovation and the potential of AI to enhance our processes and improve our work. We are always looking for individuals who are open to learning new technologies and collaborating with AI tools to achieve our goals.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
