POSITION SUMMARY
The Product Owner – Digital Operations is an execution focused role responsible for translating approved digital product strategy into clear requirements, well-organized backlog items, and coordinated delivery activities. This role works closely with Digital Operations leadership, vendors, IT partners, and customer-facing teams to ensure that digital banking enhancements are documented accurately, tested thoroughly, and implemented smoothly.
The Product Owner coordinates day-to-day delivery work across teams, prepares UAT and release readiness activities, and supports internal communication related to upcoming digital changes. This position participates in recurring vendor calls to track updates, clarify requirements, and support follow up. Strategic product decisions and enterprise level prioritization remain with Digital Operations leadership.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Gather and document requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria, for digital banking enhancements and operations improvements.
- Manage intake, backlog sequencing, dependencies, and release readiness for items approved by Digital Operations leadership.
- Prepare and coordinate UAT activities; document results and support go/no go decision readiness.
- Evaluate vendor provided enhancements and configuration options; summarize impacts for internal partners.
- Participate in recurring vendor calls (e.g. Q2, Urban FT) to track updates, clarify requirements, and coordinate next steps; escalate strategic items to Digital Operations leadership.
- Collaborate with Marketing and business lines to support communication and staff readiness for digital changes.
- Maintain logs of issues, enhancement requests, and vendor tickets; drive imely follow up and resolution.
- Support documentation updates, including SOPs, FAQs and release documentation.
- Ensure operational readiness by coordinating cross departmental activities tied to digital releases.
- Serve as a cross‑trained backup for other Digital Operations functions as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a business‑related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in banking, prepaid, or financial operations.
- Experience with Q2ebanking is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience managing projects, releases, or cross‑functional initiatives.
- Ability to clearly present information to employees and leadership.
- High proficiency with Microsoft applications.
- Experience in product improvement, innovation, or digital product management preferred.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Annual salary range DOQ: $50,000 - $70,000
