The Government Solutions Product team, a key and rapidly growing part of the Enterprise Workforce Solutions (EWS) division at Equifax, is seeking a high-performance and experienced Product Release Program Manager ready to make a significant impact and accelerate their career by driving our continued high double-digit growth.

Reporting directly to the VP of Product Management, Government Solutions, you'll be a vital partner to Product Management, ensuring the efficient and successful launch of our innovative solutions for Local, State, and Federal Government markets.

Our Product Management team is deeply market-driven, leveraging their comprehensive understanding of the government sector to define and champion successful product strategies. They are the key drivers of our product vision and direction. To ensure the seamless execution of these market-led strategies, our Product Management Organization (PMO) serves as the operational engine. You, as our Product Release Program Manager, will be pivotal in orchestrating the "how" and "when" of bringing these impactful products to life. As a Product Release Program Manager, you'll be a trusted leader, collaborating closely with Product Managers to own the end-to-end journey of our product releases. While Product Managers chart the course, you'll be the engine ensuring smooth execution from concept to customer. Join us in delivering critical solutions to the government sector!

What You'll Do

  • Shape Release Plans: Partner with Product Managers to translate market insights and product strategy into clear, actionable release plans.

  • Own the Release Lifecycle: Drive all stages of product releases, from initial ideas to successful market delivery.

  • Orchestrate Integrated Plans: Develop and manage comprehensive release plans with timelines, milestones, and resource alignment across all teams.

  • Champion Collaboration: Be the central point, fostering seamless teamwork between Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Finance, Pricing, Support, etc.

  • Track & Drive Progress: Proactively monitor releases, identify roadblocks, and implement solutions for on-time, high-quality delivery.

  • Establish Clear Governance: Define and implement effective processes, communication, and reporting for transparent release management.

  • Ensure Strategic Alignment: Continuously work with leadership to keep release plans focused on the overarching product vision and business goals.

  • Empower Accountability: Define clear roles and ensure teams deliver on their commitments to meet government needs.

  • Communicate Impactfully: Provide clear, concise updates on release status, risks, and progress to all stakeholders.

  • Optimize Release Processes: Identify and implement improvements for a faster, more efficient product delivery engine.

  • Navigate Risks & Issues: Proactively manage release challenges, developing effective solutions with Product Managers.

  • Measure & Report Success: Define and track key metrics to demonstrate the impact of successful product launches.

What Experience You Need:

  • 5-7 years of experience in program management within the software/technology sector is required, with a preference for experience launching B2B products in complex markets such as government.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent product delivery credential, indicative of proficient management and delivery of products required, with particular emphasis on governmental solutions preferred.

  • Proven success managing full product release lifecycles from concept to market.

  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams effectively.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail for managing complex releases.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across all levels.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Experience building and implementing effective program management frameworks.

  • Strong ability to drive accountability across teams.

What Could Set You Apart:

  • Experience in Agile/Lean environments, working closely with Product Owners/Managers.

  • Familiarity with PLM tools and their role in release management for government solutions.

  • Experience using data to track release performance and provide actionable insights.

  • Track record of implementing PMO best practices within product organizations.
