The Boeing Company is seeking to hire a Product Support Engineer Mid-Level (Maintenance) to join our Production Supply Chain Team at our Seattle, WA facility.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Manage parts pool configuration of available & applicable parts by program/model type
  • Evaluate impact of service bulletins, mandatory changes, customer options, engineering change memos, part drawing changes and part interchangeability updates
  • Make changes in Master Part Data Library (MPDL)
  • Induct specific models into MPDL and understand model contract requirements related to parts configuration management
  • Investigate and provide solutions to parts engineering related customer requests
  • Draft, coordinate and manage customer Part Configuration Agreements (PCAs)
  • Coordinate with other engineering groups, supplier management, program management, finance and other on-site Boeing support groups
  • Communicate with suppliers and customers inside and outside of Boeing

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5+ years of related work experience with engineering requirements and processes
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 2+ years of experience in Production Configuration Management
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with multi-functional teams/organizations
  • Experience working with suppliers and customers
  • Experience with PDM, CAPP, REDARS, PSDS, IVT, WIRS, VELOCITY, ENOVIA, MyBoeingFleet, SRP, STEPS

Summary Pay Range: $111,350 - $150,650
