Responsible for testing and performing QA on our software products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Estimate, design, and implement testing for new major features/functionality
- Create and execute functional and non-functional test cases
- Engage team in risk analysis and provide recommendations
- Reproduce complex issues within the assigned software
- Proficient use of project and test tracking and documentation tools. Able to produce effective queries and searches.
- Participate in product design reviews to learn about new functionality, contribute testing estimates, and contribute the testing/customer point of view
- Direct test activities of multiple testers on a single project
- Test automation regression maintenance & reporting
- Share knowledge of product with support team members
- Perform all of the above in a collaborative manner with a remote team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Good knowledge of major aspects of assigned product(s)
- Good IT knowledge for Windows and relevant IT subjects
- Good knowledge of a major scripting/programming language on the product’s platform.
- Good knowledge of exploratory testing. Good knowledge of non-functional test techniques.
- Good knowledge of test automation principles, tools, and patterns
- Detail oriented, independent work ethic, ability to learn new skills through job training
- Bonus experience: Git, CI/CD, Virtual Machines, SharePoint, Exchange, FTP servers, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, RESTful API calls
