At the center of BCA's multi-faceted approach to stabilize and improve the Production System, our Production Engineering organization is growing! We are looking to fill a Production Engineering Manager K-level position at the Boeing Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) site with qualified and passionate leader in Everett, Washington.
Candidates will be considered for leadership role on teams performing any of the multiple Production Engineering roles (Manufacturing Engineering, Equipment & Tool Engineering and Automated Wire Test), so adaptability and the ability to learn quickly are essential. We are looking for a leader who bring new perspectives, curiosity, and creativity when approaching challenges, and an insatiable desire for improvement.
Technical leadership and aptitude is essential for success in these roles along with the people leadership skills to develop and inspire a team to reach a shared goal and vision. Strong candidates will have demonstrated success in developing and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, and peers, as well as strong problem-solving skills, willingness to take initiative, and the ability to work across multiple functions to lead the development and implementation of production system solutions.
Position Responsibilities:

- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Production Engineering at ESRC and in the Supply Base.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 3+ years of experience in a professional engineering role
- ABET accredited Engineering degree
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience working in a production environment
- 3+ years of Electrical/Wiring experience
- Experience leading or managing teams
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Experience with build plan development and deployment
