We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Identity & Access Management System Reliability Expert (SRE) to join our expanding global team. In this crucial role, you will ensure the security and reliability of our Identity & Access Management controls platforms, effectively managing user lifecycle entitlements, authorizations, and digital identities. You will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art security solutions and contributing to various projects that utilize leading-edge technologies.
This is a 3-day in office hybrid role in Montreal, Qc.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, enhance, and maintain Identity & Access Management controls platforms for business, technology, and privileged access entitlements to ensure seamless operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work on advanced projects, leveraging cloud solutions and analytics for enhanced data security and process optimization.
• Design, create, and manage comprehensive automated test suites to ensure the security, compliance, and efficiency of platform operations.
• Implement, oversee, and optimize Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes by utilizing automated deployment systems to ensure rapid and secure release cycles.
• Act as the first line of defense in the identification and management of cyber and fraud risks, developing strategies to maintain secure, resilient, and compliant business operations.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to junior team members and work in partnership with security and IT teams to align objectives and maximize platform capabilities.
Requirements:
• 4+ years of relevant experience in web programming, with a strong understanding of Java, Python, databases, SQL, and reporting technologies.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating and executing automated test suites aimed at enhancing software quality and operational security.
• Proven track record of managing automated deployments and ensuring adherence to SDLC processes, with an emphasis on continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think innovatively and adapt to the evolving needs of the business and technology landscapes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
• Experience with cloud technologies and cybersecurity frameworks is highly desirable.
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying current with the latest industry trends and technological advancements.
Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
