You will be responsible for managing and optimizing team resource allocations—such as compute capacity (e.g., GPUs and distributed systems resources)—while ensuring alignment with organizational policies and priorities.

You will work both independently and collaboratively to identify and take ownership of unassigned tasks, helping improve team efficiency and agility. This includes coordinating with multiple teams to manage and clean up large-scale shared data environments, as well as supporting secure and compliant access to shared resources through security group administration and certificate management.

Additionally, you will communicate policies related to quotas, security, and resource usage to stakeholders, ensuring understanding and adherence. You will contribute to documenting processes, maintaining operational standards, and identifying opportunities to automate administrative tasks to improve efficiency and scalability across the organization.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in process or resource management within cloud environments (preferably Azure)
  • Experience creating and managing cloud resources and writing SQL queries
  • 2–4 years of experience in communication, problem-solving, and customer-facing or support roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience writing scripts or building automation tools to improve operational efficiency
  • Exposure to supporting data science, AI, or engineering teams
  • Familiarity with cloud resource governance, quota management, and security best practices
  • Experience coordinating across cross-functional technical teams

  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
