The Digital Enterprise Program Management office is seeking an experienced Program Management Director to lead enterprise priority programs. This is an Executive facing role that will be instrumental in enabling Salesforce lean agentic evolution as the liaison to our Business Partners. Role will primarily focus on driving execution of the program through business process design along with articulation of clear requirements in order to deliver against our big bets and continuous AI journey. 

Requires experience supporting internal operational improvement for Sales & Marketing Operations, along with GTM motions, driving internal business operations and enterprise end-state transformation with focus on process, policy, and controls required for operational readiness. Acting as a liaison between our business stakeholders and DET org to build alignment on scope and manage delivery against goals. This involves not just project oversight, but taking a hands-on approach to planning and managing the delivery; communicating with transparency and clarity; proactively resolving risks and issues; and identifying and implementing the delivery framework and operating model to accelerate delivery while holding to high quality standards. 

This is an office-flexible role for Atlanta, GA, Indianapolis, IN, Denver, CO, or Seattle, WA. In office expectations are 3 days/week to support customers and/or collaborate with their teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Planning & Delivery: Effectively plan, coordinate, and direct the delivery of large, complex projects and programs while managing risks and issues to minimize scope, budget, and schedule impacts. 

  • Build and Empower Teams: Leading, motivating, and holding accountable project and internal/external team members in a matrixed organization. Fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Stakeholder & Scope Management: Proactively build strong, trusted working relationships with functional leaders and business partners to align on vision, business outcomes and managing expectations around any scope changes and trade-offs. 

  • Long-term Program Plans: Maintain the program delivery roadmap and alignment of outcomes along with required investments to long-range plans (LRP) and annual operating plans. 

  • Manage Risk, Issues and Accelerate Decision Making: Proactively identify and manage cross-team dependencies and program risks, escalating to stakeholders as needed for immediate resolution.

  • Compliance & Quality Management: In partnership with Business Owners ensure corporate controls (e.g., SOX, Security), process and policy related changes are adequately decisioned, documented, and validated for operational readiness. 

  • Program Health Reporting: Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and health.

  • Value Realization Reporting: Support creation of the business case/ROI aligned with the required data driven metrics for objectively measuring outcome attainment

  • Influence and Communicate: Act as the primary communicator for the program, taking project level details and aggregating up to provide clear and concise updates to multiple levels of leadership, including executive sponsors.

What sets you apart:
  • Driving business transformation in a program management role 

  • Extensive experience driving large-scale Enterprise transformational initiatives with a focus on business transformation 

  • Self-starter with the ability to work through ambiguity to put the appropriate structure in place to accelerate delivery

  • Executive level communicator and active listener, who can convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner

  • Ability to influence outcomes across different levels in the organization

  • Knowledge of Salesforce solutions (Agentforce, Customer 360, Slack, Tableau) and experience with AI Productivity tools 

  • Advanced degree in business or technology related field

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 12+ years of experience leading large-scale transformation programs

  • Executive level communication and presentation skills

  • Driving Business Process discovery and end state design

  • Facilitating and documenting key design decisions

  • Program planning and requirements management experience 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications

  • Solid command of project methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Lean, Kanban)

  • Experience using project planning and PLM tools (Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technology related field

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $177,600 - $257,600 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
