Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Program Manager - Agile Software Delivery is responsible for leading and managing complex software delivery projects within the IT department, primarily utilizing Agile methodologies. This role involves close collaboration with development teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful and timely project delivery. The Program Manager will leverage agile delivery tools including Atlassian Jira and Confluence to track work and report on the progress of their projects. This role plays a critical part in supporting and implementing projects for the DISH brand at EchoStar.

Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year

- Lead software project planning, execution, and delivery using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid).
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Track progress using Agile tools and provide regular status updates and reports.
- Manage project plans, timelines, risks, issues, and communication strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and smooth execution.
- Drive continuous improvement of Agile processes to enhance delivery efficiency.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of Program Management experience, preferably in software delivery using an Agile or hybrid Agile methodology
- Experience with Agile Project Management Tools
- Experience with Atlassian Jira for project tracking and management
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of IT systems, Agile methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Skilled in translating business needs into technical requirements and consulting with customers at a strategic level.
- Effective communicator with excellent written, verbal, presentation, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to facilitate solutions in complex, evolving IT environments and manage customer expectations.
- Experienced in program management with strong negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building abilities.
- Comfortable leading and collaborating with diverse stakeholders across technical and business teams.
