Position Summary:

As the Program Manager, you will play a critical role in leading and managing AffirmedRx’s portfolio of strategic projects and supporting client implementations.  Responsible for planning, executing, and delivering key strategic projects that support internal infrastructure needs and service delivery efforts.  Brings extensive Program and Project Management experience, responsible for building and maintaining strong partnerships, ensuring exceptional service through high quality program delivery.  The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, lead through the influence of internal functional teams, facilitate and deliver executive level communications, and build collaborative internal/external relationships. Proven track record of successfully managing client implementations.

What you will do:

 Program Management:

  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide program strategies, ensuring alignment with AffirmedRx and clients overall goals and objectives
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a portfolio of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and with high quality
  • Define program goals, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and management
  • Establish and maintain program governance, including communication plans, and reporting mechanisms
  • Develop and maintain a detailed program plan, including timelines, resources, budgets, and milestones
  • Ability to think strategically while also being able to tactically deliver results
  • Executive level presence and problem-solving skills

Leadership & Communication:

  • Lead through influence, managing cross-functional project teams, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure project success
  • Monitor and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure project plans are coordinated effectively
  • Monitor program progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates and status reports
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders
  • Facilitate decision-making processes and issue resolution to keep projects and the program on track
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the program
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the program

 Program Management Experience:

  • Bring a wealth of Program and Project management experience in Managed Care, PBM, or Healthcare to the role
  • Experience with AI, and Vendor Integrations
  • Leverage experience to make informed decisions, navigate implementation challenges, and contribute to the organization's strategic direction

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Project Management, etc.) or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years industry experience in Managed Care or Pharmacy Benefits Management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience within a Project Management Office and/or Client Implementation team
  • Proven experience in program management, successfully overseeing and delivering complex programs and initiatives. Strong understanding of project and program management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with clear and concise communication with the ability to foster a collaborative work environment
  • A high level of judgment, analytical ability and creativity in investigating problems that require original and innovative solutions
  • A proactive can-do attitude, along with a strong capacity for empathy, emotional intelligence, and an inherent sense of curiosity
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, internal and external.
  • Willingness and ability to travel (20%-25%)
