Project-Based Marketing Contractor

Contract Overview
This project-based contract role supports marketing efforts for new store openings (NSO) and brand expansions on the Leap platform. This role collaborates with Leap’s Director of Brand Experience to plan and execute brand-funded marketing initiatives designed to drive store traffic, enhance omnichannel visibility, and create a strong brand presence. This scope of work focuses on coordination and execution, ensuring successful new store launches through tailored marketing strategies.

Scope of Work

  • Develop a list of Leap Marketing solutions and pricing tailored to major cities on the platform. For example, a small lift activation might cost X in NYC but Y in Dallas, or wheat pasting costs may vary between LA and Chicago. This will reflect existing vendor relationships that Leap has established. The contractor may coordinate and oversee vendor interactions as needed.

  • Execute customized NSO marketing packages for brands that opt-in and invest in tailored Leap Marketing support. These packages may include in-store activations, local partnerships, influencer marketing, email campaigns, and digital or print collateral. Source, coordinate, book, and manage vendors and event logistics, as well as briefing Leap partners and agencies from inception to execution.

  • Use Leap's Omnichannel Template to create a deck that analyzes a brand's online, social, and email presence, providing strategic recommendations for marketing their retail store. Align your insights with the brand’s existing DTC or retail strategies to ensure a cohesive approach. Note: You will not be presenting this deck directly to brands.

  • Analyze completed marketing support packages and provide recommendations for future optimization as needed to the Director of Brand Experience & NSO.

  • Share ongoing feedback to refine Leap’s NSO marketing best practices based on completed projects. This includes maintaining and updating Leap’s Preferred Partners lists with vetted vendors, influencers, local publications, and other key collaborators.

Location
Seeking contractors in the following cities:

  • Dallas
  • New York City
  • Los Angeles
  • San Francisco Bay Area

  • Experience collaborating with external vendors, influencers, and brand teams to successfully execute innovative marketing activations.
  • Expertise in crafting data-driven, ROI-focused marketing plans that deliver measurable results.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and support buy-in on marketing strategies on an as-needed basis.

Contract Details

  • This is a project-based, hourly contract with no guaranteed minimum hours per week or month. Work volume will fluctuate based on NSO project needs.
  • Contractors will be engaged on an as-needed basis for specific projects.
