Role Overview

Lead the transformation of vendor management practices to improve transparency, accountability, and operational effectiveness across strategic supplier relationships. The role is responsible for redesigning ways of working, updating contractual frameworks, defining and implementing performance KPIs, and establishing robust governance and change control processes. The objective is to restore clear visibility of vendor performance, contractual obligations, and actual cost drivers while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end transformation of vendor management processes, frameworks, and governance models.
  • Review and update vendor contracts to ensure alignment with business requirements, performance expectations, and commercial objectives.
  • Define, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level metrics to drive vendor accountability and performance improvement.
  • Establish effective governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and change control processes to enhance transparency and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain clear visibility of vendor performance, contract compliance, and actual cost realization.
  • Identify and address gaps, risks, and inefficiencies within existing vendor management arrangements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and successful delivery of transformation initiatives.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and vendor partners to achieve desired outcomes and sustainable improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Real Estate, Procurement, and Finance, to ensure integrated delivery and consistent governance.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience leading vendor management, supplier governance, or outsourcing transformation initiatives within complex organizations.
  • Strong track record of contract management, vendor performance management, and governance implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change across multiple business functions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to interpret performance and cost data.
  • Experience working collaboratively across Procurement, Finance, Real Estate, and other corporate functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
