We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced API Product Manager to handle development of content and training for APIs for one of our large software clients. In this role, you’ll run program operations, maintain a complete and accurate repository of APIs, and ensure APIs documentation is released to meet required timelines.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance readiness as well as training and support requirements are met for APIs.
- Monitor and track inventory: Ensure 100% of in-scope APIs have complete metadata (ownership, implementation timeline, regulatory tags).
- Oversee bug management and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Participate in software release processes to ensure appropriate timelines and planned release of API content.
- Track, monitor, and drive to resolution all open “bugs”, issues, or discussions, including release gating if non-compliance is identified.
- Escalate any at-risk APIs and communicate any schedule slips or other risks regularly.
- Develop and maintain training content that aligns with or exceeds recognized accessibility standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product management or a related role.
- Strong understanding of API management and compliance requirements.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong background in working with globally distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of product marketing principles and best practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and API development.
- Knowledge of API security best practices
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and data management.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools.
- The pay range offered for this position is $90,000 – 120,000 per year, depending on experience and geographic location.
