  • Help maintain documentation, brief templates, style guides, and asset management systems.

  • Drive improvements in creative workflows, removing blockers and increasing visibility for all stakeholders.

Resource Coordination

  • Track resourcing needs and help balance workload across internal creatives and external collaborators (freelancers, vendors, agencies).

  • Facilitate onboarding and coordination of external creative partners where needed.

  • Protect creative team bandwidth by streamlining communications and minimizing unnecessary disruptions.

  • Can pitch in to support with creative assets.

Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years experience in creative operations, project/production management, or related roles—preferably within games, animation, interactive media, or entertainment.

  • Deep understanding of creative workflows across disciplines like concept art, design, narrative, and marketing.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Notion, Jira, Airtable, Trello) and creative software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent at multitasking across projects with different timelines.

  • Empathetic communicator who can support and advocate for creative teams while managing expectations across the studio.

  • Passion for emotionally resonant games and thatgamecompany’s mission of creating positive, human-centered experiences.

  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
