Overview 

We are looking for a Project Manager who will Support the ERP Operations Team by providing documentation, project management, and change management to advance critical initiatives related to SAP and Supply Chain Management. The project manager consultant will be responsible for capturing business and system requirements, documenting processes, and developing and executing a change management plan including training, communications, and adoption strategies—for Construction and Field teams to drive user engagement. This is a remote role working mostly CST hours. Qualified candidates must live in the United States to qualify and not require any visa sponsorship.


Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Daily project management throughout the project life cycle
  • Work with implementation of SAP ERP system and supply chain management operations
  • Perform process mapping of both current and future processes using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, etc
  • Manage the project workstreams using tools, such as a RACI, RAID log, meeting agendas, and project plans in Smartsheet; build dashboards in Smartsheet, as required.
  • Identify key RAIDs, prepare alternatives, and escalate them according to the RACI.
  • Prepare communications materials for executive read-outs, as required.
  • Liaison between cross functional teams such as operations, engineering, product development, IT, data and billing teams, etc.
  • Lead regular update meetings with project teams and prepare ad hoc working sessions to resolve specific task items.
  • Own overall project plan and manage cross-functional resources, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, status reporting, and achievement of business goals.
  • Work with management to review, optimize and document repeatable and effective program management.
  • Integrate business policies and governance processes into project planning.
  • Manage the program’s budget and forecast.
  • Manage risks and issues and take corrective measurements.
  • Identify, track and report program KPIs to assess impact.
  • Provide and perform quality assurance checks on project artifacts and deliverables.
  • Facilitate and lead project meetings and discussions with stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience 

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of project or program management experience and executive facilitation/stakeholder management.
  • Must have experience implementing ERP systems utilizing SAP and experience with supply chain management.
  • Must have experience with process mapping (both current and future state processes) using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.
  • Strong leadership and facilitation skills, with the ability to present options and drive alignment across teams.
  • Expertise in developing training materials and communications to support the rollout of new functionality to end users.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is highly preferred.
  • Ability to define and track adoption and usage metrics to assess impact and refine.
  • Must have experience building project budgets/forecasts, status reports and KPIs, and analyzing processes to identify areas of optimization and improvement.
  • Direct hands-on experience with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Smartsheet, and Visio, etc.
  • Proven ability to elicit and document business-facing requirements.
  • Skilled in translating business requirements into technical specifications for developers.
  • Proficient in building and maintaining project plans and schedules, and capable of leading cross-functional teams to successful delivery.
  • Exceptional documentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder, and management skills, coupled with ability to individually contribute all duties and responsibilities outlined here.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, IT, Engineering or Computer Science or similar
  • PMP certification is preferred.

Compensation

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a 6 month+ consulting engagement, with an hourly range of $75-85/hour on 1099. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
