Ribbon Project Manager
Ribbon Communications is seeking a Project Manager (PM) to oversee and coordinate technical solution deployment projects, including project planning, testing, and deployment readiness. The PM collaborates with customers and internal teams—Product Line Managers, R&D, Supply Chain, Sales, and Professional Services—to ensure projects meet expectations for scope, quality, resourcing, and timelines.
The PM is engaged throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, from kick‑off through hand‑off to Ribbon Support.
Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for customer projects and post‑sales deliverables through regular virtual and/or in‑person engagements. Travel may be required.
- Manage project scope, schedule, resources, and deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives for complex Ribbon deployments involving multiple products.
- Lead matrixed project teams—including Ribbon Professional Services, Sales, PLM, Supply Chain, and customer technical teams—to deliver projects within scope, budget, schedule, and quality targets.
- Conduct ongoing account reviews with customers to discuss product roadmap, upgrade planning, operational concerns, and technical support escalations.
- Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating when necessary.
- Monitor and update project financials, including forecasting of professional services revenue.
- Prepare and deliver clear communication plans, ensuring proactive and consistent updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on, customer‑facing Project Management experience in a highly technical, fast‑paced environment.
- Technical experience with telecommunications solutions/technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively across diverse and remote teams.
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work outside normal business hours when required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available.
- Experience with delivery processes and field deployments related to telecommunications traffic migration.
- PMP certification.
- Experience with Smartsheet or similar project management tools.
