We are seeking a Project Manager to support our team at Ohno Construction. The Project Manager will be working from our Seattle, Washington.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage multiple public works construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

  • Oversee earthwork, civil, and landscaping scopes, maintaining quality, safety, and compliance with public works and labor requirements.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost controls for projects valued at $1M+.

  • Lead and coordinate superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to drive performance and productivity.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, financials, and key decisions.

  • Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to all regulatory and site-specific requirements, including work near public school facilities.

What you need for success:

  • Minimum 5+ years of on-site construction experience and 5+ years of project management experience in public works construction.

  • Strong background in earthwork, civil construction, and landscaping projects.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects valued at $1M+ while maintaining cost control and schedule performance.

  • Advanced knowledge of unit costs, labor productivity, subcontractor management, and construction budgeting principles.

  • Experience working with public works requirements, multi-locality labor agreements, and apprenticeship standards.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word, with strong organizational and documentation skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage owners, subcontractors, crews, and leadership.

  • Ability to work at or near public school facilities and meet all related background and compliance requirements.

  • OSHA 10- or 30-Hour certification preferred.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
