Zensar is looking for a Project Manager in the United States (%100 Remote). This position is open for Full Time with excellent benefits and professional growth opportunities.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Techno Project/Program Manager to lead complex, technology‑driven fintech projects and programs. This role requires a strong combination of technical depth, project governance expertise, and strategic leadership to deliver innovative solutions across banking, payments, digital platforms, and financial services ecosystems.
You will be responsible for end‑to‑end program execution, cross‑functional team leadership, platform modernization initiatives, API/integration projects, and technology transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technology Leadership (Techno‑Manager Responsibilities)
Provide technical oversight for fintech solution delivery, including architecture reviews, integrations, cloud migrations, and data flows.
Work closely with engineering, solution architecture, DevOps, InfoSec, QA, and product teams.
Review technical designs, assess feasibility, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
Lead API‑first, microservices, digital onboarding, payments, core banking, or regulatory tech projects.
Translate business requirements into technical delivery roadmaps.
2. Project & Program Delivery
Lead medium‑to‑large technical programs involving product development, platform upgrades, integrations, and system enhancements.
Create and manage project plans covering scope, milestones, budgets, and risks.
Ensure on‑time, on‑budget, high‑quality delivery across multiple workstreams.
Govern change requests, documentation, and traceability.
3. Stakeholder & Client Management
Act as the primary liaison between technical and non‑technical teams.
Manage executive‑level reporting, steering committees, and program governance forums.
Work closely with clients to manage expectations, risks, and cross‑team dependencies.
4. Risk, Issue & Change Management
Identify, manage, and mitigate delivery risks, platform issues, and system dependencies.
Implement structured change control processes to prevent scope creep.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, InfoSec, and data‑handling guidelines.
5. Financial & Commercial Accountability
Manage program budgets, financial forecasts, and resource utilization.
Review contract terms, delivery commitments, and ensure billing/financial discipline.
Prevent revenue leakage through structured governance and accurate tracking.
6. Team Leadership
Lead cross‑functional engineering and delivery teams of 10–50+ members.
Mentor junior PMs, technical leads, and analysts.
Ensure effective collaboration across distributed teams.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
10–15+ years of experience in IT project/program management within fintech, BFSI, payments, or digital platforms.
Strong technical background (hands‑on past experience in development, architecture, or integrations preferred).
Expertise in software delivery models: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall hybrid.
Strong understanding of fintech domains such as payments, core banking, digital channels, lending, or financial compliance.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
Experience in managing multimillion‑dollar technical programs.
Preferred
Certifications: PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, CSM, SAFe.
Experience across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), API gateways, microservices, DevOps toolchains.
Hands‑on understanding of information security, regulatory compliance, and data privacy frameworks.
Familiarity with enterprise PM tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Clarity, or Planview.
