Upland Software Inc. is looking to immediately hire a full-time Project Manager of Professional Services into the Content Lifecycle Automation (CLA) business unit to support professional services for the FileBound product. The Project Manager works directly with our customers across the entire implementation life-cycle, starting with the transition from our sales team through post go-live utilization, train the trainer training and initial support needs. Our implementations typically run three months and involve needs analysis and set-up configurations for complex workflows and business requirements. This requires the Project Manager to gain a deep and comprehensive understanding of our FileBound Document Management and Workflow automation software.

Individuals in this role will consult with customer staff at all levels as well as well as working cross-functionally with many internal departments such as the development and support teams. Our Project Manager are responsible for managing multiple project simultaneously and assist with implementations of moderate complexity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the FileBound Services Lead to help manage goals and responsibilities for Professional Services
  • Manage a small team of technical consultants.
  • Ensure your team has all they need to deliver successful projects, managing resource tasks, project planning, project milestones, risk and control management and project completion as per our processes.
  • Complete weekly timesheets and approve weekly timesheets for your team.
  • Ensure the team meets billable utilization targets and is on time in budget projects.
  • Monitor performance of team members and provide timely feedback and development assistance.
  • Create, review, and approve formal statements of work, project plans, change requests, and estimates and project documentation.
  • Update and report weekly and quarterly revenue forecasts.
  • Approve project invoices to ensure revenue forecasts are met.
  • Be focused on quality, cost effective delivery of services, and customer success outcomes.
  • To work alongside sales, Client Sales Managers, presales and other departments to ensure our customers are provided excellent service and projects are delivered in a professional manner.
  • Document services provided to customers in such a way as to make such services more efficient in the future and to aid the Professional Services Team

Requirements:

  • Work as a member of a team
  • Be comfortable managing a small team of consultants.
  • Have attention to detail and be problem solving & troubleshooting oriented.
  • Be self-motivated and driven to self-learn.
  • Be comfortable in customer facing settings.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have strong document writing and presentation skills.
  • Have strong planning and time management skills.

Desired Skills:

  • At least 2 years consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related on-the-job experience
  • Previous experience with small to medium Professional Services Organizations
