100% Remote within California, Must reside in California 

We are seeking a Project Specialist, Zero Emission Assistance Program to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefitting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. What You’ll Do 

The Zero-Emission Assistance Program (ZAP) Project Specialist serves as a key support role to the ZEV Master Technician, providing essential program coordination and administrative support for California community members who have purchased used zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) or near-zero emission vehicles (NZEVs) through CARB incentive programs. The Project Specialist ensures smooth program operations through efficient task execution, problem resolution, and participant support while maintaining high standards of customer service.

  • Serves as primary point of contact for routine approved service providers, education partners, workforce development organization and participant inquiries regarding program status, documentation requirements, and next steps in the ZAP process.

  • Assists the ZEV Master Technician with management of participant case files, diagnostic reports, repair invoices, and technical documentation to ensure completeness and program compliance.

  •  Coordinates and tracks scheduling of diagnostic appointments, and monitors program timelines.

Attributes for Success   

  • Knowledge of zero-emission vehicle technology concepts and terminology preferred but not required.

  • Familiarity with CARB programs including Clean Cars 4 All, Clean Vehicle Assistance Program, and Driving Clean Assistance Program a plus.

Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range:

$70,000.00 - $75,000.00

Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
