Position Summary:
We are looking to hire a talented, eager, and skilled Proposal Analyst to join our team in a remote position. The Proposal Analyst ensures consistent and accurate creation of proposals for Scout Clinical services associated with clinical trials by collaborating closely with various departments including Business Development, Contracts, Project Management and Compliance. 
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Independently create proposal estimates for patient travel and reimbursement services related to clinical trials with limited oversight. 
  • Adhere to Scout Clinical standards for proposal development including presentation, accuracy of budget, and outlining assumptions. 
  • Review and analyze client proposal requests to determine any unique or non-standard requirements that may involve deviation from default bidding algorithms and assumptions. 
  • Ensure that proposals are properly tracked in Scout Clinical databases. 
  • Participate in internal and client-facing discussions related to budget estimates. 

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree or its international equivalent
  • Experience in the clinical/healthcare industry preferred 
  • 1 year of professional work experience required; 2-3 years of proposal development experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management

The ideal candidate will have the following competencies and qualities:

  • Attention to detail with an ability to maintain consistent high quality work product across all deliverables and meet project objectives within designated time constraints in a fast-paced, demanding environment 
  • Strong verbal and written skills, and the ability to convey information in a way that others can readily follow 
  • High level of comfort with Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint, preferred
  • Timely, professional, courteous correspondence and communication with clients, vendors and colleagues 
  • Extremely Stakeholder Oriented 
  • Innovative problem solver, using critical thinking to address challenges proactively
