⛵ About Sailor Health

Sailor Health is on a mission to solve the mental health crisis among older adults. In the United States, older adults have the highest suicide rates of any age group yet receive the least mental health care. By 2030, over 65 million seniors will make up nearly a quarter of the U.S. population, creating one of the largest and most urgent challenges in healthcare.

Sailor is building the platform for senior mental health, connecting older adults, therapists, healthcare professionals, and insurance plans. Our AI-native operating system powers seamless care coordination, real-time clinical insights, and insurance billing - enabling therapists to spend more time delivering compassionate care.

We are growing quickly and have partnered with Medicare to offer affordable and exceptional psychotherapy to hundreds of patients. We are honored to have the support and backing of world-class founders from Ramp, Nourish, Headway, Charlie Health, and Spring Health.

⭐ About the Role

Location: Remote (USA or Canada)

We’re looking for a Provider Onboarding Associate / Manager to join our fast-growing team. You’ll play a critical role in expanding Sailor’s clinician network — identifying, onboarding, and empowering exceptional therapists and psychologists to deliver care through our platform. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of recruiting, operations, and relationship-building, where you’ll help shape how providers experience Sailor from day one.

🧰 Key Responsibilities
  • Own the onboarding journey: Guide providers from first contact through contracting, credentialing, and initial patient assignment, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with Clinical Operations, Credentialing, and Care Coordination teams to align on capacity needs and onboarding timelines.

  • Maintain pipeline visibility: Track metrics such as response rate, conversion rate, onboarding duration, and ramp-up progress to identify trends and bottlenecks.

  • Drive provider pipeline growth: Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with licensed therapists, psychologists, and clinical social workers across Sailor’s target states.

  • Ensure compliance readiness: Verify that all required documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with Sailor’s standards.

  • Enhance provider experience: Act as a point of contact for new clinicians, addressing questions quickly and ensuring they feel supported and excited to join Sailor.

You’re a Great Fit If You
  • You have a human-centered approach and love providing delightful experiences to clinicians.

  • You enjoy automating workflows and building simple systems that make processes more efficient.

  • You’re organized and proactive, with a knack for spotting small details that improve the provider experience.

  • You thrive in a fast-moving environment, balancing empathy with execution.

  • You’re curious, analytical, and enjoy using data to improve processes and outcomes.

📦 Our Offer to You
  • 💰 Competitive salary

  • 🩺 Comprehensive benefits, including Health, dental & vision insurance

  • 🌴 Flexible PTO and sick days

  • 🎤 Team building events

  • 🕺🏻 Friendliest and most dynamic team culture

  • ✚✚ Additional: One Medical Membership for US employees, HSA, Talkspace, HealthAdvocate, Teledoc Health
