The Nexodus Internship Program is seeking a talented Public Relations Intern to assist in enhancing the company's brand image and client communications. This role offers hands-on experience in PR activities, including media relations, press releases, and event planning. Ideal candidates are strong communicators who are passionate about storytelling and building relationships.
LENGTH OF INTERNSHIP:
- Mandatory in-person Internship Development Session (Once a month in Dallas)
- 29 hours per week (3-4 days/wk.), which may include nights and weekends as needed
JOB FUNCTION:
- Media Relations: Support the development of press releases and communication materials.
- Event Planning: Assist in organizing and promoting company events.
- Social Media: Monitor and engage with PR-related social media content.
- Research: Conduct media monitoring and competitive analysis.
- Reporting: Help compile PR reports on campaign performance.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with PR tools and platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
