Software QA Analyst will test complex computer programs within the PrizePicks ecosystem.

Responsibilities:
  • Write and execute tests for critical use cases across back end and front end systems
  • Evaluate and document test plans, analyze, and identify opportunities for testing
  • Improve upon testing standards within the team
  • Work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure appropriate test coverage
  • Create and maintain Manual and in-house software utilities
  • Own the quality role from all perspectives (Feature Functionality, User Experience, Operational Support) and be the voice of quality for the customer
Qualifications:
  • 2-6 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience writing test cases and executing tests manually
  • Experience with maintaining a test case repository
  • Experience or knowledge required in the following: SQE process, SQE documentation, Agile development methodology, and testing
  • Strong working understanding and implementation practice of software development life-cycle and testing tools
  • Ability to learn and actively seek new skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing technology field, including bringing any new ideas to the SQE department
  • Ability to think outside the box, adapt to circumstances, learn from co-workers, and share information and experiences
Bonus Points (nice to have but not required):
  • Shape Up SDLC Process
  • Notion or other Wiki/Intranet/Knowledge Base tools
  • Test automation experience

The typical salary range for this position is $105,000 to $115,000. At PrizePicks, we consider your role, level, and where you'll be working when determining our salary ranges. The compensation info you see on our job postings gives you an idea of the starting pay range for the position. Your actual pay within that range will depend on your specific work location, as well as your skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter will be happy to chat more about the specific pay range for your location and how we arrived at it during the hiring process.
