QUALITY ASSURANCEWhat We Do

The Quality Assurance team owns the testing process, risk management, and quality evaluation of all products and functions across Epic. Our team works closely with developers and production to ensure the best possible user experience for our community and customers.

What You'll Do

We are looking for a QA Analyst to create test plans, assess risk, monitor and conduct testing. You will use independent judgment within defined processes in support of the team’s overall strategy toward achieving a high quality bar. In this role, you will interact with peers and share information amongst the team and other departments. Our ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented, professional, and passionate about games.

In this role, you will

  • Test the functionality and usability of applications throughout various development phases
  • Identify and communicate risks and mitigations
  • Create Test Plans/Strategy for assigned areas
  • Verify fixes are implemented correctly throughout the product cycle
  • Track and analyze data to improve features and processes
  • Utilize established defect reporting formats and tracking systems
  • Work side-by-side with development teams to ensure quality within planned milestones

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years game testing experience
  • Good understanding of and experience with modern Consoles/PCs and associated software
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with Risk-based testing
  • Ability to follow directions, remain focused and self-prioritize with minimal oversight
  • Ability to learn, comprehend and apply new concepts, techniques and procedures quickly
  • Ability to work independently or in small teams effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for gaming

Nice-to-haves :

  • Working knowledge of: QA methodologies, terminology, and tools; multiple console hardware platforms and configurations; PS/XB/Switch/PC
  • Experience with network testing and client/server interaction
  • Experience working in a LiveOps environment
  • Familiarity with Jira

This role is open to multiple locations in North America (including WA).

Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).

Washington Base Pay Range

$62,533$91,715 USD
