Seeking a QA Automation Engineer for remote work, focusing on testing phases, programming languages, and modern web applications architecture with various tools for quality assurance.
This is a remote position.
ITTConnect is seeking a QA (Testing) Automation Engineer to work remotely for a client in the US. This is a new position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the Telecom area (internet, cable TV).
Job location: Remote, work from home anywhere in Brazil.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
- Good English skills for call, emails, meetings.
- Knowledge of different SDLC phases and understanding of Testing phases
- Experience in programming language(s) ex. Java, Python, JavaScript etc.
- Experience in database ex: Oracle SQL
- Experience in modern web applications architecture – Microservices, APIs e.g. SOAP, REST
- Experience with source control, build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GIT
- Experience with handling Client Interactions
Tools and software:
- Selenium / Cucumber / TestNG/JMeter/Cypress/Protractor
- Bitbucket, GIT
- REST tools – POSTMAN, SOAPUI, Chrome REST Client
- IDE – IntelliJ, Eclipse, VS Code
- HP ALM / JIRA/ QMetry
- DevOps tools
- Database – Oracle, SQL Server etc.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Automation frameworks ex: TestNG, Robot, Cucumber, or any other standard framework and integration with open-source libraries or tools ex: Selenium.
- Experience of Functional Testing, Integration Testing, End to End Testing, Regression Testing
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools ex: Jenkins to integrate the Automation scripts
- Knowledge of Automation planning, Status Reporting.
- Cable/Telecommunication Industry domain knowledge and working experience
