Job Description
Role: QA tester ETL BI / data warehouse
Location: Bellevue,WA
Duration: 6 months
Compensation: $65-69.5/hr. on W2
** consultants are accepted only on W2**
Description:
Primary Responsibilities: Actively participate with project team in requirements gathering and analysis. Work with Business Analysts, Developers, ETL and Data warehouse engineers to validate ETL scripts. Create, Execute and Debug SQL queries to perform data completeness, correctness, data transformation and data quality testing. Prepare / review test conditions, test cases and test scripts. Execute test cases / scripts. Execute test cases / scripts. Execute test cases / scripts. Create and maintain all testing artifacts. Log and track defects to closure.
Required Skills and Experience:
Hands-on experience in source to target mapping between Data Warehouse and target data mart universe databases.Expertise in BI and ETL Testing methodologies. Experience testing data for data marts, data warehouses or ETL tools such as BODI, Informatica is a plus. Ability to lead and mentor a team of data warehouse/Database testers. Experience in test automation is a plus.
Knowledge of telecom domain and charging and billing systems is a plus.
Desired Tools:
Oracle. SQL Server, Teradata, Informatica, BODI, Unix, Toad, PLSQL / SQL Developer, HP ALM,HP QC / QTP / Automation tools.
Other Skills / Abilities 3 – 5 years testing experience.
