What You Will Do:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will create tests that identify issues with product software and infrastructure in advance of product launch.

Responsibilities will include test strategy and plan development, test and test data development, test execution and automation, tracking and reporting of software defects and defect resolution, root cause analysis of identified defects, and development and maintenance of test and test result documentation.

You will support testing activities across the entire software development lifecycle, including integration, system, performance, regression, user acceptance, disaster recovery, and end-to-end testing. You will lead efforts to automate testing activities and to integrate test automations into the CI/CD Pipeline tools such as Github Actions, Code Fresh etc.  and DevSecOps processes.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or additional FOUR (4) years experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of FOUR (4) years of experience working in a quality assurance or testing role supporting enterprise computing platforms and system development efforts
  • Minimum of TWO (2) years of experience providing quality assurance and testing support for workloads that deploy on AWS
  • Minimum TWO (2) years experience working with Javascript
  • Ability to expertly perform manual & automated testing, documentation, and recreation and validation of issues or defects reported by the end users
  • Experience planning and tracking tests, test results, and defects in Jira and ability to proficiently perform application testing using Selenium and the Apache JMeter load testing tool

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Certification: AWS Certified Developer
  • Certification: AWS Certified AWS Solution Architect
  • Experience working with Python/Django web-based applications
  • Experience conducting penetration and load testing on the AWS Cloud
  • Experience working with the Playwright end-to-end test framework
  • Experience in configuring monitoring and alerting in Sentry
  • Knowledge of 508 testing standards and requirements

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00-$141,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
