About Mangomint

Mangomint is the platform salons, spas, and beauty professionals use to run and grow their businesses. Thousands of industry professionals rely on Mangomint every day for the workflows that matter most: bookings, payments, client communication, staff operations, marketing, business performance, and more. We’re already the highest-rated salon and spa software platform, and we’ve earned that position by building a product customers love.

We’re an ambitious and collaborative team that comes together in person every few months. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for high-potential, hard-working people who want to do the best work of their careers on a team that’s built to win.

About the Role

Our Connect team owns the communication channels in Mangomint. This is a business-critical feature and we want to ensure it’s running smoothly, no matter the device our users have.

You'll be doing a bit of everything: hands-on testing of new features, regular regression passes on iOS and Android, and building out automated tests that catch problems before users do. You'll also keep an eye on the bigger picture by tracking bugs and quality trends and turning that into data the team can actually use to make decisions.

You'll be embedded on the Connect team, working closely with a team of 8 engineers and a PM day to day, and teaming up with other engineering teams when bigger, cross-team features need a solid test plan. Your work will have a major impact on our ability to deliver new features to how Mangomint users communicate to their clients - from phone calls to marketing campaigns to website chat.

In this role you will:

  • Manually test new features across a variety of iOS and Android devices before release

  • Run regular regression testing on mobile to catch issues before they reach customers

  • Design and build automated synthetic tests for mobile voice calls and SMS flows

  • Create test plans and strategies for new features and larger cross-team projects

  • Report on quality data and bug trends to help drive decisions on where to invest

  • Free up engineering and product time currently spent on repetitive manual verification

  • Partner with engineers, Product, and Design to keep quality bar high as release velocity increases

What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience testing mobile apps (iOS and/or Android)

  • A track record of owning test strategy for complex systems

  • Sharp attention to detail and analytical thinking to catch issues others miss and understand why they happen

  • A strong sense of agency and a desire to solve problems

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including with non-QA engineers, Product, and Design

  • Practical fluency with AI tools to work efficiently and creatively in test design and automation

  • Comfort reporting on data and quality trends in a way that helps others make decisions

  • Alignment with Mangomint's values and the way we work

What You’ll Love About Mangomint
  • Health, dental, vision, life & LTD insurance

  • Generous monthly wellness budget for gym memberships, yoga, etc.

  • Premium subscription to the Calm app & One Medical membership

  • Flexible PTO

  • 401k plan available (no matching)

  • Employee stock option program

Mangomint is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate against any employee or job applicant on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity), national origin, age, disability and genetic information (including family medical history).
