TeamDynamix seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Process Automation engineering team. We are looking for a meticulous QA Engineer to help us improve the overall quality of the product. This role is ideal for a dynamic, detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who seeks to holistically own our quality process, bringing functional, manual, and automation testing together. As a champion of quality, you will use your risk-based testing mindset to help prevent defects during design and implementation in addition to being excellent at identifying bugs.
About the Role
- Develop and maintain manual and automated test processes and procedures to ensure software quality.
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to understand new product features.
- Perform manual testing of new and existing functionality.
- Diagnose issues, report defects, and develop regression tests to prevent issue reoccurrence.
- Report and document technical issues.
- Create logs to document testing cases and defects.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams.
- Help troubleshoot issues.
- Work with customers to identify reproduction steps.
- Work with Tier 1 support to clarify bug reports.
- 4+ years of software testing experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in technology, math, or science
- Experience working with an automated testing tool like Playwright
- Experience in a Microsoft development environment (Visual Studio, ASP.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, etc.) a strong plus
- Familiarity with Quality Management Software and Processes.
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Proficiency in testing web applications, databases, and interfaces.
- Clear communication (written and verbal) – to ensure ability to write test plans and test cases. To communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders.
- Creative problem-solving skills to translate technical requirements into test plans.
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables, ensuring the ability to quickly identify defects and bugs.
- Abstract thinking to avoid conforming to norms, which helps in quickly finding bugs.
