The Quality Control Expert will conduct detailed reviews and checks on financial documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards across multiple versions and platforms.

Project Overview
The Freelance Financial Proofreader will support projects within the assigned Micro Agency by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of financial content across multiple document versions and platforms. This role requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with financial data, and the ability to uphold internal and client standards through careful quality control review.
Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management Quality Control (PM QC)
Conduct detailed quality control checks on project management deliverables.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal and client requirements.
2. Version 1 Quality Control – Traditional (V1 QC – Traditional)
Review and proofread initial document versions using traditional (non-Workiva) workflows.
Validate financial figures, formatting, annotations, and references to source data.
3. Version Next Quality Control – Traditional (VN QC – Traditional)
Review subsequent traditional workflow versions to ensure updates and corrections were accurately applied.
Confirm consistency, completeness, and accuracy across document iterations.
4. Graphic Quality Control (Graphic QC)
Inspect graphical elements such as tables, charts, and layouts.
Ensure accuracy of data, proper alignment, correct formatting, and adherence to design standards.
5. Version 1 Quality Control – Workiva (V1 QC – Workiva)
Perform platform-based quality control checks in Workiva for initial versions.
Verify accuracy of linked data, formatting compliance, and platform best-practice adherence.
Engagement Timeline
This project engagement will run from December 2025 to May 30, 2026, unless terminated earlier under the terms stated in the Master Services Agreement (MSA).
