We are hiring immediately for a Quality Engineer to join our team to work in our Longmont, CO office.

Responsibilities:

  • The Quality and Delivery team ensures all products meet or exceed both internal requirements and customer expectations.
  • Performing quality control on a wide range of geospatial products.
  • Review products prior to delivery, ensuring they meet or exceed product specification.
  • Ensure that quality standards are being met on all Vantor geospatial products.
  • Provide timely quality assessments.
  • Partner with other teams in Operations to meet quarterly revenue goals.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen, have current or ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of geospatial work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or related field. Two additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Proficiency with imagery, DTM/DSM, and vector products.
  • Must be willing to be on-call typically every six to seven weeks - when you are "on-call" you are paid salary plus shift differential pay.
  • Additional volunteer on-call opportunities available during holidays with additional pay.
  • Must be willing to travel to Longmont.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Unix/Linux at the command line
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Ability to support time-sensitive requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of ArcGIS and Global Mapper
  • Geospatial production background

Pay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.

● The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $62,000.00 - $83,000.00 - $91,300.00 annually. 

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.

Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
