About DroneDeploy
DroneDeploy powers field teams with robotics and AI. As the only reality capture platform that combines robotic automation, AI agents, and a truly unified system, DroneDeploy allows critical industries to operate with speed and confidence.

From construction and energy to agriculture, the world’s largest companies use DroneDeploy to simplify field operations, improve safety, and make smarter decisions, faster. By combining aerial drones, 360 and fixed cameras, ground robots and proprietary AI, we’re bringing the power of automation and visual intelligence to all stakeholders, from the field to the boardroom.

At DroneDeploy, we thrive in a mostly remote-first culture rooted in innovation and impact. We’ve been recognized as a Best Place to Work in the SF Bay Area and named one of America’s Great Places to Work—but what truly sets us apart is the experience you gain: solving real-world challenges with cutting-edge technology, surrounded by teammates who are as passionate as they are supportive. Our team is bold, mission-driven, and building something that matters. We foster a culture where a variety of perspectives drive smart decisions, and where growth—both personal and professional—is part of the journey. Whether it’s flexible schedules, family-friendly benefits, or our strong track record of internal promotions, we invest in people as much as we do in product. If you’re looking to be part of something ambitious, authentic, and transformative, you’ll find your place at DroneDeploy.

Role Overview
At DroneDeploy, we’re on a mission to transform reality capture and site intelligence—and we’re growing. That means bringing on top talent at speed and scale. We’re seeking a driven, strategic, and resourceful Recruiter who thrives in a SaaS environment and delivers results.

This role is a high-impact opportunity to partner directly with hiring managers, interviewing teams, and executives, owning searches end-to-end across R&D, while also stepping in to support non-technical roles when needed. We are hiring a recruiter who thrives in builder mode, moves fast without sacrificing quality, and knows how to maintain strong, evergreen pipelines of top talent. This is a chance to shape the growth of DroneDeploy!

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across GTM and Technical roles, supporting Engineering, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams.
  • Source, assess, and hire engineers, delivering top-tier technical talent across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Fill roles in <90 days while maintaining exceptional quality, candidate experience, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define roles, build interview panels, and ensure alignment with business and team needs.
  • Build and maintain evergreen pipelines for both technical and GTM roles to proactively support growth.
  • Develop tailored sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, talent networks, and creative outbound approaches.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing our mission, culture, product, and values to prospective candidates.
  • Track key recruiting metrics to monitor performance, forecast hiring needs, and optimize process (~20 hires per quarter).
  • Operate independently, maintaining speed, structure, and clear communication in a fast-moving environment.
  • Conduct technical assessments and accurately evaluate coding fundamentals when required.
  • Influence and collaborate with executives and hiring managers, managing expectations and driving alignment.
  • Travel occasionally for team meetings, events, or conferences (~1× per quarter).

Requirements

  • Must-have: Proven in-house SaaS recruiting experience, covering both GTM and Technical functions.
  • Deep technical recruiting expertise for R&D teams, including proficiency-level engineers through senior ICs, managers, and directors.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting for GTM roles across Sales, Customer Success, and Operations (without being limited to any one function).
  • Track record of managing 10–15+ reqs per quarter while maintaining top-of-funnel quality and fast hiring velocity.
  • Experience hiring globally, with an understanding of multi-region talent markets.
  • Strong proficiency with Lever (or similar ATS) and sourcing tools; familiar with leveraging AI-powered tools for sourcing and workflow improvements.
  • Data-driven mindset, comfortable reporting, analyzing, and acting on recruiting metrics to improve outcomes.
  • Continuous improvement orientation, always refining tools, processes, and sourcing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to partner effectively with executives and technical leaders.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environments.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
