Job Summary: The Recruiting Manager is a hands-on execution role responsible for delivering high-quality recruiting outcomes across Flex HR's client engagements. This person partners closely with the Director of Recruitment to run day-to-day recruiting operations, manage candidate pipelines, and ensure a consistent, white-glove experience for clients and candidates alike. The ideal candidate is a highly communicative, detail-oriented recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and is eager to grow within a collaborative HR consulting firm. 

Job Overview: 

1) Execute Full-Cycle Recruiting Across Client Engagements 

  • Own the end-to-end recruiting process for assigned client roles, from intake through offer. 

  • Source, screen, and shortlist qualified candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct outreach. 

  • Conduct structured candidate screens and deliver concise, insight-rich summaries to clients. 

  • Maintain consistent candidate communication and pipeline momentum throughout each search. 

  • Provide a white-glove experience for both clients and candidates at every touchpoint. 

2) Support Client Relationships & Intake Processes 

  • Participate in client intake conversations to understand role requirements, culture fit, and hiring priorities. 

  • Communicate proactively with client contacts on pipeline status, candidate quality, and search updates. 

  • Help clients navigate hiring decisions with clear, organized candidate comparisons and next-step guidance. 

  • Escalate complex client situations or tradeoffs to the Director of Recruitment as needed. 

3) Follow and Help Refine Recruiting Processes & Tools 

  • Execute against Flex HR's established recruiting methodology, including role blueprinting, sourcing plans, scorecards, and shortlist delivery. 

  • Use intake forms, interview guides, and candidate tracking tools consistently across all searches. 

  • Provide feedback on what's working and what's not to help continuously improve team-wide processes. 

  • Support the rollout of new tools, templates, and best practices as introduced by the Director. 

4) Maintain Pipeline Visibility & Reporting 

  • Keep candidate pipelines accurately updated in HubSpot at all times. 

  • Track and report key recruiting metrics including time-to-submit, conversion rates, and offer outcomes. 

  • Flag bottlenecks or delays early and proactively communicate status to the Director. 

  • Contribute to weekly pipeline reviews and delivery check-ins. 

 

5) Use HubSpot Consistently for Recruiting Workflows 

  • Log all recruiting activity, candidate communications, and pipeline updates in HubSpot. 

  • Follow established workflows for pipeline visibility and client-facing communications. 

  • Embrace systems and standardization as key drivers of a great client experience. 

6) Collaborate Across the Team 

  • Attend weekly team huddles and one-on-ones with the Director of Recruitment. 

  • Collaborate with colleagues across Flex HR, including HR consultants and operations staff, to deliver seamless client service. 

  • Bring a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to every interaction — internal and external. 

  • Maintain a willingness to support additional initiatives as the organization grows. 

 

Preferred Job Requirements:  

 

  • 5–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a consulting, agency, or multi-client environment. 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple open requisitions across different industries and client types simultaneously. 

  • Strong sourcing skills across LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and creative direct outreach strategies. 

  • Experience with ATS or CRM platforms; HubSpot and / or Hireology experience a plus. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to write sharp candidate summaries and communicate confidently with client contacts. 

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through. 

  • Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment while staying connected to the team. 

  • Familiarity with HR best practices and employment law basics a plus. 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite; experience with HRIS platforms (Paylocity, ADP, Gusto) a plus.
