Title: Region Sales Director - Northeast

FLSA Classification: Exempt

Department: Sales

Reports to: VP of Sales 

Salary: $140K - $160K plus bonus

Date: 6/2025


Job Summary:

The Region Sales Director position is responsible for driving sales, execution, and financial goals for Beatbox Party Punch throughout a designated region within North America. This position will collaborate directly with wholesalers and retailers to develop “Share of Mind,” while driving performance, to meet or exceed company-specific KPIs and goals. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • This position does have direct supervisory responsibilities, overseeing and guiding the performance of team members within the assigned department. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and lead a team of BeatBox employees toward achieving Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual company goals. 
  • Manage the following processes: Pricing strategy development & price increase sell-in, Cents per case audits, forecasting reviews, identify future market trends and developing solutions/plans to lead future growth.
  • Work with BeatBox marketing team to develop and drive marketing objectives that will increase sales.
  • Publicly speak and represent BeatBox at distributor and retailer meetings, trade shows,
  •  training, speaking engagements, and promotional events.
  • Full understanding and ability to leverage tools at your disposal to provide strategic oversight of the business: IRI, Brand Plans, VIP, Karma, etc.
  • Manage region’s financial expenses while holding the team accountable to spending guidelines and budget.
  • Develop a strong relationship with Principles, Senior wholesaler management and their sales team.
  • Establish call frequency and relationships with assigned wholesalers to drive distribution and sales.
  • Adherence to CRM Platform documentation for ALL in-market store visits, achieving a minimum quarterly visit target (50), and a minimum annual visit target of (200) unique account visits.
  • 1 Planning meeting with top 10 distributor per quarter. 
  • 2 Meetings per year with all region distributors (1 ABP meeting - 1 Mid-Year review) 
    • Using the 80/20 Rule -- Hit only the top 80% volume distributors. 
  • Weekly calls, lunch meetings or presentations to Wholesaler Mgmt. (Team leader or above)
  • Top to Top documented business reviews with your top 18 wholesalers 
  • Annual business plan development, presentation & execution
  • Seek out marketing and special event opportunities.
  • Participate and be responsible for pilot projects and brand strategies on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Deliver a monthly review for assigned wholesaler performance to senior management (Internal & External)
  • Develop and inspire Region Managers, Commercial Managers and Sales Execution Managers to reach their highest potential, through constant training, coaching and engagement. Minimum ride-withs for each employee of once per Tri-Mester. Twice per year if you have 5 or more direct reports.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Sales Leadership: Proven track record in sales leadership, including strategic vision and effective team management.
  • Strategic Planning: Expertise in market analysis and the ability to make strategic decisions based on market dynamics.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis, utilizing metrics to inform decisions, and understanding financial aspects of sales management.

Education/Experience:

  • Twelve (12) years of experience in the beverage alcohol industry is required, having an advanced understanding of the 3-tier system 
  • Must live within the Primary geographic assigned territory.
  • Must be proficient in Google platforms, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Must be able to understand and use nationally syndicated data.
  • Major chain retailer experience is a plus.
  • Familiar with VIP or other distributor reporting systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • Ability to work with Senior Management across all departments.
  • Minimum 2 years of team management experience and ability to instill and follow BeatBox Culture
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • An undergraduate degree is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
