Job Summary & Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Regional Performance Manager (RPM) to manage and grow a portfolio of accounts within a defined region. This is a hybrid Sales + Customer Success role where you’ll focus on driving retention, increasing revenue, and ensuring customers are getting maximum value from Impel.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to your clients—building strong relationships, driving adoption, and identifying opportunities to expand the partnership.
Responsibilities 

Own & Grow Your Book of Business

  • Manage a portfolio of regional accounts, owning retention and growth

  • Drive 90%+ revenue retention while identifying expansion opportunities

  • Lead regular account reviews and strategic check-ins with clients

Drive Adoption & Customer Success

  • Ensure strong utilization of Impel’s platform across client teams

  • Deliver onboarding, training, and ongoing enablement

  • Proactively identify risks and resolve issues to maintain high customer satisfaction

Sales & Expansion Focus

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts

  • Partner with Sales as needed to close expansion opportunities

  • Support development of customer stories, case studies, and references

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations to align on client needs

  • Share customer feedback to help shape product and go-to-market strategy

Operational Excellence

  • Track activity, account health, and revenue in Salesforce

  • Maintain strong activity levels (calls, meetings, follow-ups) to drive results

Preferred Qualifications

Core Experience

  • Experience in account management, customer success, or sales (preferably SaaS)

  • Proven ability to retain and grow existing accounts

  • Experience managing multiple client relationships simultaneously

Must-Haves

  • Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills

  • Ability to operate in a hybrid Sales + CS role

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a high-volume book of business

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience in digital marketing, automotive, or retail

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Google Analytics
