Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end marketing strategy for the Western region, aligning with regional sales goals across all customer segments.

  • Partner closely with:

    • SDRs to activate demand and drive outbound engagement
    • Channel & Alliance Managers to co-develop and execute joint partner and technology alliance campaigns
    • Customer Marketing & Account Managers to align on expansion, retention, and advocacy strategies
    • Product Marketing to localize messaging and tailor campaigns for regional relevance
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance and pipeline contribution to sales and marketing leadership.
  • Travel to support regional events, customer-facing activities, and field programs (~30% travel expected).

 What You Bring

  • 5+ years of field marketing experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise tech
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute integrated GTM programs with Sales, SDRs, Channel, Alliances, and Customer teams
  • Strong track record of generating net-new pipeline and influencing customer expansion
  • Familiarity with the full marketing funnel and sales process
  • Experience in the cloud storage, security, infrastructure, or SaaS industry is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of the target personas, including IT, infrastructure, and security buyers—and the events, formats, and tactics that resonate with them regionally
  • Proficiency in Salesforce; HubSpot or similar MAP experience preferred
  • Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
