Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for leading and executing sales strategy
across a team of Sales Managers overseeing both acquisition and cultivation Business
Development Officers (BDOs). The RSM is accountable for delivering consistent results
against revenue, margin, and pipeline targets by instilling disciplined sales execution and
rigorous performance management. This role requires a leader who can translate strategy
into action by setting clear expectations, inspecting progress, and taking decisive action to
address gaps. The role also partners closely with cross-functional teams to align priorities,
incorporate field feedback, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Success in this position requires a data-driven leader who can translate strategy into
action, lead through change, and build/maintain a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Managers overseeing acquisition and
- cultivation BDOs
- Participate in sales calls (both in-person and virtual) to observe, support and
- provide post-call feedback
- Drive a high-performance culture focused on accountability, execution, and results
- Conduct regular performance reviews, pipeline inspections, and deal coaching
- sessions
- Identify performance gaps and take decisive action to improve outcomes
- Execute regional sales strategy aligned to company objectives and revenue targets
- Drive performance across both new business acquisition and portfolio growth
- Ensure disciplined pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and CRM utilization
- Monitor key performance metrics and act as needed
- Partner with internal teams (marketing, product, underwriting) to drive growth

- Collaborate with channel partners and enterprise stakeholders (e.g., UPS sales

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent
- Hold a valid property & casualty insurance license
- Background in financial services, insurance, or risk-based products
- 3+ years of sales experience (must include experience as a BDO)
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and executing on goals
- Strong knowledge of both acquisition and cultivation models
- Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, and data-driven decision making
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency with CRM systems, forecasting tools, and analytics platform (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI, Anaplan)
