As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be accountable for achieving regional sales goals through effective leadership of the sales team. You will guide salespeople in expanding existing accounts, developing new customer relationships, and managing project pricing strategies to secure major opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the District Sales Managers in the region.
• Drive sales of RAB products through the rep network to our distribution customers.
• Meet revenue goals; drive data accuracy; develop the assigned District Sales Managers, and manage their assigned SG&A budgets.
• Expected to dedicate majority of their time with reps and distributors. Includes developing multi-level relationships with both the rep agencies and the distributor customers
• Possess awareness of the competitor’s activities, with a sense of urgency in growing RAB revenue within the region.
• Leverage strong region management and organizational skills to strategically build upon past success.
• Possess solid business acumen, strategic planning, problem solving and relationship building skills.
• Display excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and customers on a routine basis.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior level, executive leadership, and all partners.
• Conduct regular territory market analysis to identify market opportunities, competitive threats, market potential and price positioning.
• Resolve customer issues and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Ability to build excellent relationships, and grow established relationships, with clients in target area.

Experience:

• 5 to 10 years of field sales experience necessary; background in industrial manufactured products
• Experience selling lighting preferred
• Some project management experience preferred
• Must live in the North West region of the U.S., with reasonable proximity to major airports.  
• 3 to 5 years of leadership in an external sales environment preferred.

Territory states include: Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, N and S Nebraska, and Colorado
