The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

What will you be doing?

  • Establishes vehicle prices, within department timeframes, using ARI systems, industry data and personal expertise.
  • Chooses and assigns for pick up, the optimum remarketing channel for each individual vehicle on a daily basis.
  • Evaluates each vehicle’s condition, type and current market to set floor prices as part of a strategy to maximize the final selling price.
  • Represents Holman auction sales using “remote rep” internet technology; occasionally representing sales at the physical auction.
  • Authorizes repairs to vehicles and determines if repairs will enhance the net value.
  • Reviews aged inventory to sell vehicles within department time parameters and guidelines.
  • Reviews and verifies all sale paperwork for sale expenses both at the individual vehicle level and at the remarketing channel level to assure expenses are valid and in line and to insure proper payment from remarketing channel.
  • Evaluates current vendors on key performance indicators and decide on when to bring on a new vendor and determine when a relationship with an existing underperforming vendor should be terminated.
  • Becomes a Subject Matter Expert on a set of assigned Makes and Models and assists management in the setting of yearly residual values.
  • Makes price recommendations on multiple types of pricing for clients, including market value, estimated resale, and ACV for insurance purposes.
  • Enters all required dates, prices, notes, and other relevant information into the VR online systems.
  • Performs demonstrations for clients and prospects of the Remarketing function and especially the Remote Rep technology.
  • Interact and network with dealer base at the auction to support the Holman Remarketing Solutions informing the benefits of the program
  • Frequent travel to assigned auctions in person to represent the Holman Remarketing Solutions vehicles offered for auction.
  • Inspect the auction facilities and monitor the Service Level Agreements that are   auctions have with Holman Remarketing Solutions.
  • Work with auction management to ensure compliance of all marketing of both Holman and Holman 3rd party vehicles 
  • Informing and selling our 3rd party program to car dealers at the auctions assigned
  • Managing all arbitrations in accordance with the NAAA policy with the dealers at the auction
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus;
    • IARA – CAR Certification (Certified Automotive Remarketer)
    • IARA – ACT (Audit Compliance Training)
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
  • 2-4 years’ of Remarketing experience
  • Breadth and depth of expertise in a technical or functional area; knowledge of work processes and tools is generally limited to own area of responsibility or department
  • Collecting and analyzing raw data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and other helpful information.
  • Reviewing and improving analytics processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and security

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $52,510.00 - $74,825.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
