Join us at Geek Squad (the technical service organization of Best Buy Canada). We are looking for people just like you, to provide technical support to our clients.
As a remote service agent, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of working from home while supporting our 24/7/365 business. Here’s what you can expect:
- Work 24+ hours per week over 4-5 shifts,
- Shifts are up to 8.5 hours, with varying start and end times.
- Flexibility is key, as business needs may fluctuate week to week.
As a remote technical support representative, you will create an amazing customer experience by:
- Identifying and recommending solutions based on customers’ needs
- Facilitating product repair, troubleshooting, upgrades, installations, and other services using an online portal and remote desktop software
- Tutoring clients on the proper use of their products
- Completing training to continuously improve the client experience
- Having fun while being the best!
What we are looking for:
- 1+ years of call center or help desk experience
- Experience in troubleshooting and/or repairing devices
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
- Verbal and written proficiency in English
- Ability to work 24+ hours per week over 4 to 5 shifts
Your home office comes equipped with:
- Computer with monitor, speakers, and anti-virus software (PC must be running Windows 8 or newer, Mac computers must be running 10.13 or newer)
- Subscription to a high-speed, hard-wired internet connection
- A USB or 3.5mm PC headset
- A webcam for training and meetings
- A door. Home offices are required to be private and quiet and not in your living room.
