Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and driven Robotics Analyst to join our global team. This role focuses on analyzing the frontier of robot learning, supply chain complexities, the commercialization of these systems, and how autonomous robotics reshape global logistics and manufacturing.

As an Analyst, you will lead and contribute to forward-looking research that informs the largest asset managers, technology firms, and industrial companies worldwide. You will identify emerging trends in robotics adoption, assess hardware and software innovation, and map capital flows across automation ecosystems. Your insights will directly inform strategic decisions driving the next generation of intelligent manufacturing and industrial automation.

This is a full-time, onsite position. A Master’s degree (PhD preferred) in engineering, robotics, computer science, or a related technical field. A strong understanding of the robotics and automation landscape — from component supply chains to system integration and software control — is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead research and analysis on learning methods, data mixtures and training "recipes," model architectures, supply chain tracking, and applications.

  • Produce high-impact research reports, forecasts, and technical briefings for clients, leveraging both public and proprietary data.

  • Track and evaluate developments across key areas such as mobile manipulators, quadrupeds, industrial robots, cobots, and self-driving vehicles.

  • Assess how advances in AI, edge compute, data collection, and simulation are transforming automation capabilities and market structures.

  • Collaborate with semiconductor, AI infrastructure, and industrial technology analysts to develop cross-sector insights.

  • Support clients including investors, OEMs, automation providers, and policy stakeholders with bespoke insights and thematic research.

  • Present findings to senior executives and clients through reports, calls, and conference presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 2–5+ years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, strategy consulting, or R&D within robotics, automation, or industrial technology.

  • Strong understanding of physical AI, robotics hardware and supply chains, and market dynamics (e.g., form factors, application-specific nuances, and industrial integration).

  • Proven ability to translate technical and market data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills — capable of producing investment memos, deep-dive reports, and technical primers.

  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with scripting or data tools (Python, SQL, MATLAB, etc.) is a plus.

  • Self-driven, intellectually curious, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.

Growth Areas

  • Develop deep domain expertise across robotics, AI, and industrial supply chains, with exposure to real-world commercialization and deployment trends

  • Build strong analytical capabilities in synthesizing complex technical and market data into clear, investment-relevant insights

  • Gain hands-on experience working with proprietary datasets and forming differentiated views on emerging technologies

  • Strengthen communication and executive presence through regular interaction with senior stakeholders, including investors and industry leaders

  • Develop the ability to present insights and influence strategic and capital allocation decisions at a high level

  • Gain cross-sector exposure by collaborating with experts in semiconductors, AI infrastructure, and industrial technologies

  • Take ownership of research coverage areas and lead thematic projects as you progress in the role

  • Build a strong personal brand and thought leadership within the robotics and automation ecosystem
