About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Revenue Cycle Associate to support scaling our company’s revenue cycle management function.  You will have the opportunity to make a big impact on the Finance team and on the company overall by working directly for and with the Director of Revenue Cycle and the RCM team and by using your knowledge and experience to ensure claims are submitted timely and accurately, ultimately driving cash collection

You'll be responsible for managing and influencing claim submission, investigating and working claim denials, and reporting on key revenue cycle metrics.

Core Areas of Responsibility

  • Coach and manage the Revenue Cycle Analyst - for clean claim success rates & denial prevention
  • Proven ability to engage, collaborate, and influence outcomes across different pillars of the organization.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support setup of new RCM platform
  • Assist with launching new payer partners
  • Support & assist implementing a robust Eligibility process
  • Fee schedule maintenance
  • Has working knowledge of federal & state compliance guidelines and coding & billing rules to help build and improve the claims process flow and payer payment responses.
  • Ensure timely filing requirements are met
  • Recognize & address Underpayments 
  • Create and maintain records regarding client E&B details
  • Apply correct billing procedures specific to each client’s needs
  • Partner with the Data Ops & RCM team on reporting relevant metrics

Impact and Success Indicators - this should be for both RCM positions

Where you’ll make an impact in the first 90 days:

  • Track and status AR data and report on notable trends
  • Develop and implement denial management workflows
  • Identify and investigate areas of revenue leakage 
  • Share ideas for billing and claims process improvements 

 Where you’ll make an impact in the first year:

  • Reduce denials
  • Lead denial management payer projects
  • Work cross-functionally to implement billing and claims process improvements that prevent denials upstream 
  • Improve client billing experience by improving billing and reconciliation workflows

 You’ll be successful if you have:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective communication and relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of billing, coding, and claims processing procedures
  • Experience using a clearinghouse to view claims and run E&B checks
  • Experience communicating with payers about claim-related issues

Compensation & Benefits

The offer range is dependent on qualifications and experience. New hires can reasonably expect an offer between $81,000 - $95,000. The full salary range for this full-time, exempt role is $81,000 - $109,000
